Where are Pro Silencers made?
Pro Silencers are handmade in the USA (Indiana).
What are they made of?
They are made of a specific type of Navajo wool grown in the 4 corner states of the USA.
Do I remove the string tied around the center when installing?
No, leave the black string tied around the center. It holds everything together and is sandwiched by the string bundles.
Do the silencers need to be tied in?
Pro Silencers do not need to be tied in. They can be if you desire, but it's not necessary. If your string is on the short side with minimal twists, it may be a good idea to tie them in.
What type of strings can Pro Silencers be used on?
Pro Silencers were designed and work best on flemish twist strings. They can be used on endless loop strings but will require tying.
Do I remove the cable ties before or after they are put in the string?
The cable ties stay on the silencers and don’t get removed until the silencers are installed and bow is restrung. Once the silencers are where you want them, slide the cable ties off and then start shooting.
How long does it take for Pro Silencers to puff out?
On average, it will take 10-30 shots for the silencers to fluff out completely.
Are Pro Silencers waterproof?
Pro Silencers are made from Navajo wool, which is water-repellant by nature due to the lanolin oils, but they are not fully waterproof. A quick pluck of the string will shed off any moisture.
Can you make custom color combos?
Yes, choose “PRO SILENCERS - Custom” under products. Provide the required information such as colors then add to cart. Note, please list the colors and what percentage of that color you’d like represented.

Where do Pro Silencers go on the bow string?
One on the top half and one on the bottom half. Different theories exist on where to place them; by sliding them up and down, you can tune the arrow flight. The position can be adjusted easily as they don't need to be tied in.
Can Pro Silencers be purchased in stores?

The silencers are lopsided. Did I do something wrong?
Ensure they are centered up and being straddled by the string bundles before removing the cable ties.
